Have You Wanted A Friend
Have you wanted a friend
That would always be true,
One who would always
Be standing by you?
Through good times with laughter
Or sad times with tears,
Jesus will love you
And still all your fears.
If you're lonely and blue
Just call out His name.
He knows when you're hurting
He knows of your pain.
Some friends may forsake you
And cast you aside.
If the going gets tough,
They'll find someplace to hide.
But, Jesus won't fail you,
He'll never depart.
He's the best friend you have
When He lives in your heart.
