He Could Have Have you ever had a problem And felt so all alone, You felt you couldn't share it, You must solve it on your own? Jesus Christ who cares for you Can bring you peace of mind. He'll give you joy and comfort Of a very special kind. He understands your problems, He walked this earth like you. He knows your pain and sorrow, Just think what He went through. He was nailed upon a wooden cross And in suffering and shame, He shed His blood to save us, This was the reason that He came. He could have called on angels high To end His pain and misery. He could have said "I've changed my mind, Dear Father set me free." But, He gave his life to save us, On the cross He took our place. We who are His followers know That we are saved by grace.
