If you go to church on Sunday
And wiggle in the pew,
When the preacher gives his message,
Do you think it's just for you?
Do you like to join the singing
Cause you're musically inclined,
But, you never stop to think about
The message in each line?
Does your Bible gather dust
From one week to the next?
Then, friend you'd better listen
To your preacher's text.
Read your Bible every day,
God's message will come through.
Let Jesus dwell within your heart,
Then, " soft will be the pew."
