You Give So Much

I don't want to sound ungrateful

But, Lord, how can it be?

When I know I'm not worth it all,

You give so much to me.

You give me strength to face each day,

A smile I always wear.

I just don't understand, dear Lord,

I don't deserve your care.

But, Lord I just want you to know

I'm so in love with you.

I want to make you proud of me

In everything I do.

I'll try to live the life I should

So one day you might say,

"You've done the best that you can do,

Come home with me today."
