He Walks Beside You
If clouds hang heavy over your head
Reach out for your Saviour's hand.
He walks beside you everyday
And your pain He will understand.
When burdens get to hard to bear
As you travel that lonesome road,
There is one who walks beside you
And will help you bear your load.
Your Saviour cares about you.
He gave His life for you and me
When He died upon that wooden cross,
The cross of Calvary.
If you give your life to Jesus
You will never walk alone.
And, when your life on earth is through
He will lead you "Safely Home."
