When I was young I never thought
‘bout where my life was headed.
I only lived just for today
Any thoughts of death I dreaded.
But Jesus loved me, oh, so much,
He entered my heart and then,
He led me down a different path
Where my life will never end.
He showed me that my life could be
A time of joy and peace.
And when my life is over,
My happiness will not cease.
A mansion He has built for me
Where I’ll live with him someday.
I will follow where He leads me
For I know Jesus is the only way.
