Have You Ever
Have you ever felt as I do
That your life is not worthwhile?
Seems each day or year that passes
Brings a tear instead of smile.
I have lost my life's companion
Angels came and took him home.
Now I live with precious memories
As I face my life alone.
But, when sadness overwhelms me,
I feel a loving hand.
'tis my Saviour standing by me
Saying " Child, I understand. "
As He dries my tears of sorrow
Wipes away my doubt and fear,
I can face a new tomorrow
For I know my Saviour's near.
