MORNING As I awoke this morning And gazed out on the lawn, Two rabbits there were greeting The arrival of the dawn. The birds and squirrels were eating The food I had placed there, And, as I stood there watching I said my morning prayer. I thanked God for a good nights rest And the dawning of this day.
