Nickname
When I was just a baby And learning how to talk, My mommy taught me lots of words And helped me learn to walk.
Daddy came home to eat each day So, as mommy cooked our lunch, She'd sit me in my highchair With a cookie I could munch.
When daddy came in the door He'd say to me "Hi, Snookie." I didn't know what a "Snookie" was, So, I'd say to him, "Hi, cookie."
This is how my nickname came to be, Some still call me that today. Though I'm not a baby anymore "Cookie" I will always stay.
