Please Forgive Me

Dear Father, please forgive me

If my prayers I don't complete.

My list of prayers is very long

And I sometimes fall asleep.

I have prayers for all my family

And for friends I hold so dear.

I pray that You will guide them

And always hold them near.

I pray Your Son will lead them

For Jesus is "the way."

And, if they follow Him I know

We will meet in Heaven one day.

I thank You God for listening

To this my humble prayer.

Stay ever close beside me

As Your precious love I share.

Amen
