THANKFUL

BIRTHDAY PRAYERS

My birthday has arrived again

And along with another year,

I've added a few more wrinkles

And more grey hairs have appeared.

My steps are a little slower,

Still I'm grateful I can walk.

And, my mind still works sufficiently

Though sometimes it seems to "balk".

But, all in all I'm happy,

Many blessings I've been given.

So, on my knees I send thankful prayers

To our Father up in Heaven.
