This World Today

As I think about this world today

I wonder what went wrong.

Our Father created a beautiful place

Where we could live our whole life long.

He created a beautiful sunrise,

Provided the warmth of the sun,

And the view of a beautiful sunset

Are all blessings He sends everyone.

But this world's in so much of a hurry,

We've no time to enjoy the view.

And I know we don't thank Him enough

For the blessings He gives all day through.

As His children He always forgives us

Though ungrateful we surely appear.

He continues to send us His blessings

Hoping one day our prayers He will hear.
