When A Poem Is Written When a poem is written,  its words from the heart, There is an ending,  there is a start. But its what's in between that's the meaningful part, When the words from the soul are set free. A poem can be happy, a poem can be sad, Depends on the person and the life they have had. My life, for example, has had ups and downs. There are moments I laugh and moments I frown. But God is my strength and will be 'til the end. And if through this poem I can touch just one friend, These words from my soul I will send. Accept these words as part of my strength, As out of my heart they are flowing.
